A ridge of bedrock, a hint of structure and stacking, purposeful placement - especially at the broken boulder (or is it a "tor" and not a glacial erratic exactly?). There's something Suddenly Serpent-like about this segment of stone up on Mt. Tobe (some say a corrupted form of the word Manitou) near the Waterbury/Plymouth CT town-line:
