Back on 9/11/07 (see: http://wakinguponturtleisland.blogspot.com/2007/09/more-about-atv-damage.html), I was worried about ATV's and all those other sort of things like dirt bikes etc. driving over what looked to me to be segment of stone row that might have been a Snake Effigy (http://wakinguponturtleisland.blogspot.com/2009/09/searching-for-serpent.html) in a Stone Row.
I don't have to worry about that any more, I found out yesterday; Connecticut Light and Power has solved that problem - with a bulldozer:
