I am trying to formulate what it is that bothers me about this. Here it is: this archeologist and interviewer are both living in a dream world where "archeology" is the knowledge and control over secret buried treasure. That seems quite wrong. That is not what archeology is.
The host brings up treasure and Indiana Jones, but Brian talks the secrecy to preventing looting - and offers up some good ways to participate in a dig, if dig you must. I've only met him once - he said he only sees some of the turtles I do in my photos...
Cool topic: that archeology is not a science because of its secrecy.
