A ten foot stretch of zigzag stone row (More Squiggles), suggests a construction style of three serpentine rows...
Following the zigzag south, the construction changes to linear and seems to be "peppered" with what look like circular rock piles, as I said:
3 views of perhaps a mortar stone? Notice the wedges?
Notice anything that reminds you of a quartz head and a right front foot of a certain animal?
A couple places I've been this autumn are like this, these circular rock piles: Turtles in the Round Mounds & Pile by a stone row .

Another?

These area all the great pictures of the world famous Turtle's Island and all the trip pictures are too beautiful and too fabulous.
