Serpentine Edge/Western Border (CT)

  There are so many similar spots where a zigzag row of stones displays this sort of repeated feature that I puzzled a bit about just where it was for a few minutes. Even then when I found the folder, I wasn't too sure that it wasn't a photo out of order, accidentally sandwiched between some turtle effigy photos of this one:

So, looking at the trees, I realize the stones are a little north of the turtle,


- way back on the Grinning Shape Shifter Serpent's Tail - it's Bifurcated Tail that splits in two...
Perhaps a change from snake to human is suggested in the combination of naturally formed and humanly enhanced features as you walk around the boulder:
