Before 1990, I was content with most of the Folklore I read
about stone walls in New England. Since then I am astounded by the dearth of
real investigation, ignorance about how Indigenous Peoples actually lived, and
the foolish things that people believe about 'lost civilizations" and all
that kind of thing. Based on observations, I became surprised that few people
recognized obvious Indigenous Iconography in the stonework over the last 3 or 4
hundred years...
