Spring Cleaning in the Chickenyard
Yes, I still continue the work started by those chicken acheologists of yesteryear, picking and pecking away around these stone mounds. Here's a photo from the summer of 2006:
Sorry about the sniffles; at about 2:20 into the video, I pan toward the horticultural fields of the Nonnewaug Wigwams of the Historic Period, where the Sachem Nonnewaug lived from at least 1659 to sometime in the early 1700's.
